That moment when Pogba nearly made Messi and Ozil jealous with a wonder assist to Olivier Giroud in an international friendly.

It was a friendly match that seemed to be more of a final when France faced Cameroon on Monday night at Stade La Beaujoire. The hosts won the match 3-2, thanks to brilliant goals from Blaise Matuidi, Olivier Giroud and not forgetting Dimitri Payet’s wonder free-kick that left many fans speechless and sent Twitter into a frenzy.  

But it was Paul Pogba’s stunning pass to Olivier Giroud that stole the show in the first half. With the game tied at 1-1, the lethal Juventus attacking midfielder picked the ball on the right-hand side of the pitch, a position that looked less threatening to the opponents at that particular moment.

But a few glances at Giroud’s position at the opponent’s box followed by a little bit of footwork was all Pogba needed to brilliantly curl the ball pass five Cameroonian players, and land it safely on Giroud’s powerful left leg, who blasted it home. The superb skill sparked wild cheers in the stadium with several replays proving how it was more of a miracle than an ordinary assist.
