Lionel Messi provided one of the best passes from midfield this season and the result was a brilliant goal by Jordi Alba.

Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi played a vital role in his team’s goal against Sevilla in the Copa del Rey final. The Argentine legend provided a brilliant world-class pass a few meters away from the midfield as the ball landed directly on Jordi Alba's leg. The Spaniard then thanked the sender with a low finish into the net, which was his first goal of the season for the Nou Camp outfit.

Neymar then found the back of the net 10 minutes later to hand Luis Enrique’s side their 28th Copa del Rey title.

This is Luis Enrique’s seventh trophy in two seasons with Los Blaugrana, which translates to an average of a trophy every 17.4 games.

The Catalan giants also broke their own record of becoming the first team to win back-to-back Copa del Rey trophies. They won it from 1996 to 1998, and broke the record 18 years later.
