Jose Mourinho has once again addressed the rumors linking him with the Man Utd job.

As long as Jose Mourinho is unemployed and Louis Van Gaal continues to occupy the driving seat at Old Trafford, Man United fans should brace themselves for more Mourinho rumors, interviews and hints especially now that the league has ended.

The Portuguese tactician continues to be the number one choice for the Old Trafford job, despite Van Gaal’s recent revelation that he is determined to complete his contract which expires next summer.

The latest report from Sky Sports suggests that the ex-Chelsea boss has, for the umpteenth time, denied any contract agreement with the Red Devils. Asked whether he had reached an agreement with the English giants, the Portuguese tactician replied:

"With nobody.

"I go to Montreal for the Grand Prix and carry on enjoying my life."

However, it would be quite difficult to tell if the controversial and outspoken manager is telling the truth or playing his usual mind games.

Meanwhile, Louis Van Gaal’s men return to Old Trafford later today to face Bournemouth for their rescheduled league fixture. The hosts need to score at least 19 goals in order to qualify for next season’s Champions League action, an achievement that seems impossible if their goal-scoring stats this season are anything to go by. The 20-time league champions have netted 46 goals this season in the league, which is their lowest tally since the 2004/05 season. With their strike force seemingly blunt and heavily dependent on youngster Anthony Martial, this could be yet another herculean task that needs more of miracles than tactics.
