Luca Toni played his last match as a professional footballer and ended things on a sweet note after scoring from the spot to give his team the win over five-time Serie A champions Juventus.

The World Cup winner has scored 156 Serie A goals in 343 appearances for eight different clubs throughout his career, proving to be a lethal striker up front. Nonetheless, the ex-Italy forward has decided to hang up his boots after he confirmed that he would retire following Sunday's match against his former club.

The Hellas Verona striker ended his football career with a "Panenka" penalty to give his team three points in the Italian tournament.
