Former Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon has spoken about the Champions League semi-finals against Manchester City and believes it will be a tough test for Los Blancos.

Despite Real Madrid's confidence in this match given their history of bagging the European trophy ten times, Calderon stresses the threat the home side poses. Zidane's men are the overwhelming favorites coming into this clash against the elite English side, yet that must not get to their heads, as anything can happen at the Etihad Stadium.

Calderon recently discussed his thoughts on the semi-final showdown this Tuesday between Real Madrid and Manchester City telling TalkSport:

"It is going to be a very exciting match.

"I wouldn't say Real Madrid are the favourites. I saw Manchester City against Stoke the other day and they played well.

"They are playing more like a team than ever and not relying only on some players like they did before in Aguero, Silva, Kompany and Toure. That is very important. "

"It is going to be interesting. Fans and followers all over the world will enjoy this match, no doubt."

Nonetheless, this face-off between these two powerful squads will be full of passion and drama, as both teams will fight until their last breath to clinch a spot in the finals of this epic competition.

Are Pellegrini's men up for the challenge against Ronaldo & Co?
