Leicester City have edged closer to winning the Premier League title.

The Foxes beat The Swans 4-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table to eight points. However, the lead could be reduced to five points if Tottenham Hotspur beat West Bromwich Albion on Monday.

Claudio Ranieri’s men came into this match without the services of their star striker Jamie Vardy, who was serving his suspension. Riyad Mahrez and Leoonardo Ulloa were then charged with the responsibility of hunting for goals upfront and they did not disappoint as they guided the hosts to a 4-0 win. This was Jamie Vardy’s first absence from the starting line-up since the last 45 league game.

Leicester now have three matches in their remaining league fixtures, and need to win just two of those. They travel to Old Trafford to face Man United in their next game in what is expected to be a final before the final. With the Red Devils battling for a Champions League spot and Leicester eyeing the league title, this is one fixture you do not want to miss. After the Old Trafford trip, the Foxes will then host Everton at the King Power Stadium,  then prepare for a thrilling season-ender vs Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.

And as expected, a section of fans from both divides in the Premier League took the opportunity to share their views regarding the crucial victory that leaves the Foxes two wins away from a historic league title.
