The Portuguese ace scored the first goal thanks to an assist by Carvajal, while the second came thanks to a well placed corner by Toni Kroos.

Real Madrid's chances of staging an epic comeback against Wolfsburg were handed a big boost by Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored a brace in just 88 seconds to level the aggregate score against the German outfit.

Ronaldo's first goal came just after 16 minutes, putting to good use a cross by Dani Carvajal. Eighty-eight seconds later, Ronaldo headed Toni Kroos' corner into the back of the net, making fans at the Bernabeu go crazy.
