Real Madrid's chances of staging an epic comeback against Wolfsburg were handed a big boost by Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored a brace in just 88 seconds to level the aggregate score against the German outfit.
This way, Ronaldo became the first player in UEFA Champions League history to score 15 goals in two separate seasons. He managed to do it two years ago, when Los Blancos took home their 10th-ever UCL trophy. Back then, CR7 scored seventeen times.
Ronaldo's first goal came just after 16 minutes, putting to good use a cross by Dani Carvajal. Eighty-eight seconds later, Ronaldo headed Toni Kroos' corner into the back of the net, making fans at the Bernabeu go crazy.
Here are a few reactions after CR7's quick brace.
