A series of controversial calls were mashed up by a fan after Los Blancos lost against Wolfsburg, but others seem to think that there's nothing to be mad about.

Some of Real Madrid's fans are having a hard time coping with their loss against Wolfsburg, but in their attempts to prove a conspiracy against their team, other fans showed that Los Blancos need to step up their game if they want to get to the Champions League semi-finals.

Yesterday, hours after Wolfsburg defeated Los Blancos at Volkswagen Arena, a Real Madrid fan page called "Born to be a Madridista" posted a video in which they pointed out what they thought were controversial calls against the Spanish side. Although we may agree with them with Casemiro's controversy, the two remaining plays shown in the video seemed to be pretty clear from our point of view.

The fan page kicked things off with a strong statement, blaming the Italian referee for their team's misfortunes.

"How the ref robbed Madrid ..

1. CR goal was not offside

2. Bale was clearly pushed but no penalty

3. Casemiro clearly got the ball. That wasn't a penalty"

Have a look at the video here.

Regardless of what they think, some of LSTV users provided us some evidence that shows, for example, that the offside call on Cristiano Ronaldo was close, but a right one. (Credit: Alexandru Mihai)

To make matters worse for the fan page, some of their users were not satisfied by their take on Wednesday's game and questioned the team's performance rather than the ref's influence in the game.

Real Madrid needs to score three goals and keep a clean sheet in order to make it to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, but Los Blancos have failed to come back in a series where they lost the first leg in recent years.
