Out of the current Real Madrid squad, only one player has been identified to be worthy of joining Barcelona.

Former Barcelona great Deco has sensationally revealed that there is only one Real Madrid forward who is worthy of playing in the current Barcelona squad.

This is despite the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema have netted 63 goals in La Liga between them this season for Real Madrid. However, their rivals Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in Barcelona’s camp have scored 69 goals between them this season in La Liga, something that clearly gives them the upper hand ahead of this Saturday’s El Clasico at the Nou Camp.

The two sides are set to clash for supremacy and most importantly, Los Blancos would want to redeem their image after suffering a humiliating 4-0 thumping in the hands of Luis Enrique’s men on November 21 last year at the Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg of the fixture. Deco, who plied his trade for Barcelona for four years between 2004 and 2008, however revealed that Luka Modric is the only player who could get a starting berth in Luis Enrique’s team.

Modric, 30, has scored one La Liga goal in 27 appearances for Los Blancos this season. With a pass accuracy of 91% according to Squawka, this makes him a suitable choice for Los Blaugrana, who are well-known for their tiki-taka football.Luka Modric, Real MadridThe former Portugal international told Catalan newspaper Ara:

"I would sign Modric for Barca because his way of playing fits with the style that exists at the club,

"He is a footballer who looks like [Andres] Iniesta and Xavi due to his way of playing, he has a similar style. The forwards [Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale] would not have a place at Barca."

The UEFA Champions League winner with FC Porto in 2004 and FC Barcelona in 2006 also heaped praise on Barcelona superstar Neymar, whom he tipped to become the best player in the world in the future.

He added:

"I can't say too much from the outside, but he's certainly a great player who is still growing,

"He's on the way to becoming one of the best players in the world, and in the future he could be No 1 because he's an incredible talent that plays for a big club.

"Messi has helped a lot with his adaption as well."

On Saturday, all eyes will be on the lethal attacking duo of Bale, Benzema and Cristiano versus Messi, Suarez and Neymar, famously referred to as ''BBC’’ and ‘’MSN.’’ A win for the hosts could send them 13 points clear at the top of the La Liga table, while a loss could trim their lead to just 7 points.
