Round 5 of the CONMEBOL 2018 World Cup Qualifiers continues today with Brazil and Uruguay in action at 20:45 ET / 21:45 local time.

In the CONCACAF region, Round 4 goes on with difficult games in Group A. El Salvador face Honduras at the Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador at 21:06 ET / 19:06 local time.

Canada also host Mexico at BC Place in Vancouver at 22:08 ET / 19:08 local time. If the Canadians secure the three points, they will occupy the first position in Group A with 7 points in 3 matches. As it stands though, they are still second ahead of Matchday 3 with 4 points in two encounters, while El Tri lead with a maximum 6 points.

Where to watch: Jamaica vs Costa Rica & Haiti vs Panama

Group B leaders Costa Rica play Jamaica in Kingston at the Independence Park at 20:00 ET / 19:00 local time. A goalless Haiti side will however attempt to get their first win of the current qualification stage when they challenge Panama at the Stade Sylvio Cator in Port-au-Prince, also at 20:00 ET / 19:00 local time.

 

Where to watch: Saint Vincent and Grenadines vs Trinidad and Tobago

In CONCACAF’s World Cup Qualifiers’ Group C, Saint Vincent & Grenadines welcome Trinidad and Tobago in their capital Kingstown, at the Arnos Vale Stadium. That game takes place at 15:30 ET (same as local time).

Later in the day, Group C favorites USA face Guatemala at the Estadio Mateo Flores, precisely at 22:05 ET / 20:05 local time. The Americans happen to be the team with the most goals in the CONCACAF Qualifiers so far, thanks to their 6-1 victory over bottom place Saint Vincent & Grenadines back in November last year.

 

International Friendlies

There is more live soccer during the day with international football friendlies. At 15:45 ET / 20:45 CET, Republic of Ireland host Switzerland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
