The Italian coach, who will become Bayern Munich's manager next season, kicked off the rumor mill by meeting Javier Hernández before Mexico's game vs Canada.

A few weeks ago, Carlo Ancelotti was rumored to be interested in signing Javier Hernández to play for him at Bayern Munich. Today, the Italian boss sparked even more rumors after meeting with "Chicharito" in Vancouver.

The Mexican striker, who has been a huge success with Bayer Leverkusen during his maiden season in the Bundesliga, has been linked to a number of European teams who are supposedly interested in signing El Tri's marksman. Hernández has scored 23 goals in all competitions for Die Werkself this season, reaching a personal record for most goals in all of his years as a professional.

Ancelotti published a picture of his meeting with "Chicharito" which made fans wonder if the pair could team up again as they did with Real Madrid.

During his loan season with Los Blancos, Hernández wasn't able to establish himself as a starter with the Spanish giants, scoring nine goals in 33 games, most of them as a sub. His glorious moment with Real Madrid came during the UEFA Champions League, when a late goal by the Mexican against Atlético sent them to the semi-finals.

Even if Bayer Leverkusen's execs have revealed they could be forced to sell the Mexican if the price is right, it is highly unlikely for "Chicharito" to leave a team that could provide him with more minutes of playing time. Nevertheless, the player has always said he loved working under Ancelotti, so the possibility of both men working together could materialize soon.
