It was initially anticipated that beIN Sports would make all CONMEBOL qualifying matches available on its multiple platforms, including TV channels and live streaming services. While viewers in USA and Canada will still be able to benefit from live TV coverage of key games involving Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru in mid-week, the big match between Chile and Argentina—also an interesting repeat of the 2015 Copa America final—will be off screen.
This is in fact because beIN Sports—owners of the rights for that game—have decided to offer the matchup live on a pay-per-view basis only. Three qualifying matches from Round 6 in the CONMEBOL region will also be aired live on PPV only.
