Javier Cortés from Pumas, Javier López from Guadalajara and Carlos Morales from Morelia scored beautiful goals during Week 11 of the Clausura 2016 tournament.

Mexican fans had something to talk about this week after  Liga MX players scored a fair amount of nice goals. Two of those strikes came during the matchup between Pumas and Morelia, while a youngster with a curious nickname helped popular but struggling club Chivas defeat the league leaders by a two-goal margin.

Last Saturday, Monterrey faced Guadalajara in what seemed to be an easy game for the leaders, since Chivas had only won one game this season. The popular Mexican club was playing better than Los Rayados, but the score remained 1-1 after 55 minutes. Then coach Matías Almeyda gave Javier "La Chofis" López the chance to enter the game from the bench, and the youngster delivered a couple of fine goals to help Guadalajara win once more.

His second goal was quite impressive, and we have it here for your viewing pleasure.

On Sunday, Pumas UNAM hosted Morelia for the final game of the weekend. Pumas ended up winning 4-2 against Monarcas, but the game's final goals were a couple of gems. First off, midfielder Javier Cortés scored a wonderful lobbed ball to make it 4-1. The 2012 gold medal winner with El Tri managed to set himself up with a fine dribble before his classy finish

Finally, Monarcas Morelia was able to go out of the pitch with something to be proud of despite the loss. Veteran Carlos Morales was able to send his thunderbolt into the back of the net to make it 4-2, showing that at least someone tried to fight back for the red and black team.
