Boavista will welcome reigning Primeira Liga champions Benfica on matchday 27 this Sunday, March 20th. Here are your live TV listings & online streaming options for Boavista vs. Benfica.

Having managed to overcome Russian powerhouse Zenit earlier this month, Benfica have booked themselves a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals. However, the Eagles' next opponent - Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich - will certainly prove to be a much tougher side to face for Rui Vitoria's men.

Nonetheless, in the meantime, the reigning Primeira Liga champions will be focused on making sure they keep Sporting CP at bay in the race for the domestic title as the current season approaches its final two months.

Fortunately for the Eagles, they will be taking on Boavista, a team who have had a torrid time all season. Boavista, who will be hosting proceedings when the two sides clash later today, have picked up just one win in their past five league games.

To make matters worse, they are presently in 16th place, just one point away from the drop zone and 17th-placed Academica. And given that Academica will be playing earlier in the day, Boavista could actually find themselves in one of those dreaded relegation places even before kick-off against Benfica.

The visitors will also, naturally have their eyes on the league table, especially considering that their ex-coach Jorge Jesus's side Sporting CP have been hot on their tails all season. Nonetheless, this indeed looks to be a truly lopsided fixture, with the odds highly in favor of the current Primeira Liga title-holders.

In fact, Benfica have won their past three meetings against Boavista, all without conceding a single goal. The last time Boavista managed to defeat their upcoming opponents was on September 9, 2007, when they shocked the Lisbon giants 3-0.

If wins over Benfica are really hard to come by for Boavista, then the 1998/1999 season indeed was one that their fans will never forget - as it was during that campaign that they completed a double over the Eagles - by beating them both at home and away.

However, the reverse fixture earlier this season finished as a 2-0 for Rui Vitoria's squad against a 10-man Boavista. And in fact, the hosts have a bad record of picking up red cards in this fixture - with four out of their past five meetings seeing them finish without all 11 men on the pitch.
