As Manchester United prepare to face Liverpool for the second leg of their UEFA Europa League fixture at Old Trafford later today, Italian right-back Matteo Darmian has dismissed rumors that he is set to leave the English side.
The 26-year-old had a bright start to his career at Old Trafford but lately, his performance has been on the decline.

During an interview with Sky Italia, the former Torino man dismissed the reports claiming that he could be on his way out of Old Trafford. He said:
“I'm very happy here, I also said this in January. I have a long contract and I do not think about anything else. I want to end the season the best, both at club level and, subsequently, with the national team.’’
Darmain’s first season with Red Devils has been affected by injuries and positional change, something that explains his decline in form. He has so far made 18 appearances for Louis Van Gaal’s side since joining them on July 11, 2015 on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee, believed to be approximately £12.7 million.
