The celebrated Real Madrid star shared a video on his Twitter account demonstrating how the amazing sneakers work. The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 trainers feature a fluorescent light in the sole that automatically turns on when the wearer inserts his foot inside the classic sneakers. The laces then slowly but systematically tie themselves according to the size of the wearer’s foot for maximum comfort.
According to Tiffany Beers, Senior Innovator at Nike, the sneakers have an internal sensor that automatically tightens the laces when the wearer inserts his foot. The tightening of the laces occurs immediately when the heel gets in contact with the sensor.
