This just goes to prove that you can age without losing a shred of class.
A few days back, it was announced that famous former Man United goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar would step out of retirement in order to hand a helping hand to injury-ravaged former youth side Noordwijk.
The retired Dutch shot-stopper agreed to play for one game on Saturday against Jodan Boys, enjoying a dream return to football having hung up his boots 5 years ago back in 2011.
Playing in his first game since Manchester United’s clash with Barca in the Champions League final, Van der Sar showed he still got it by pulling off a penalty save to deny the opposition from taking the lead.
Luckily, his spot kick heroic was caught on camera. Check it out in the VINE below.

Unfortunately, the 45-year-old eventually conceded a goal, though Noordwijk were able to find the back of the net to secure a 1-1 draw.
