Jurgen Klopp could miss one of his key players ahead of Liverpool's Europa League clash with rivals Man United.

The Liverpool Echo reports that Liverpool could miss the services of their star winger James Milner, who picked up a sudden illness ahead of their Europa League clash with their arch-rivals Man United at Anfield on Thursday. The former Man City man was expected to feature in Jurgen Klopp’s squad that would take on The Red devils in the first leg of the fixture but he may not be available after picking up a sudden virus.

Although the Englishman travelled to the training session at Melwood yesterday, he was advised by the club’s medics to continue with his recovery at home. As of now, the 30-year-old has not been officially ruled out of the match as the club will take another look at him before deciding his fate.
