The Brazilian superstar was nominated to the 2015 Ballon D'Or with his Barcelona team-mate and Real Madrid's ace back in January.

Some might say that Neymar could be the next in line to succeed Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as the world's best player. With that in mind, the Brazilian player analyzed his Barcelona team-mate and even compared him with Real Madrid's all-time top striker.

In an interview with UOL, Neymar categorized his colleagues' skills, revealing he would love to "have" Messi's ability with his left leg rather than owning CR7's right-foot skills.

"I'd choose Messi's left foot over Cristiano's right foot any day of the week. I'd do that because Messi's left is superb, and even if it breaks, my right leg is as good as Cristiano's, so there you have why," the South American striker stated.

The former Santos player went even further and compared Lionel Messi with fellow countryman Pelé, often regarded as the best of the world. Brazil's current No.10 failed to make up his mind when asked about which of them he considered the best player in football's history.

"Unfortunately, I never saw Pelé play. I only know how he performed on the pitch thanks to what my grandfather used to tell me about him. It's not an easy question to answer, considering I have the privilege of working with Messi, and I know him very well. Either way, I believe both of them have to be considered geniuses," the player added.

Neymar has been rather influential for Barcelona's near-perfect season, playing superbly during Messi's two-month absence back in 2015.

Finally, the South American player described his feelings regarding the difference between CONMEBOL's Copa Libertadores and the UEFA Champions League. According to Barça's ace, the UCL is one step above the other.

"It's nice to play the Copa Libertadores, but playing the UEFA Champions League is something else. Listening to the opera music as you walk into the pitch carries a special feeling with it. It's like playing a video game, a dream come true. That's why I choose the Champions League," Neymar concluded.
