If there was even the slightest bit of doubt hovering over Leicester’s title challenge credentials, odds are they’ve been totally washed away.
With Claudio Ranieri’s men heading into Matchday 25 with a three-point lead over second-placed Man City, the Foxes made a trip to the Etihad on Saturday, with many questioning whether this season’s underdogs could beat Pellegrini’s heavyweights.
Nonetheless, Leicester silenced the critics, and in emphatic style, thrashing the Citizens 3-1 to move 6 points clear at the top, with only 13 games remaining in this campaign.
It didn’t take too long for Vardy and Co. to storm into the lead, as the visitors grabbed an early opener thanks to a Robert Huth goal in the 3rd minute, giving them a 1-0 advantage heading into half-time.

At this stage last season, Leicester were bottom of the table. Now they are top of the table and are on course to win the league. Unreal.

If Ranieri does win the league with Leicester, he should be awarded manager of the year for eternity. Nobody's ever eclipsing that.

Next up for the table-toppers is a tricky trip to fellow title hopefuls Arsenal.
