Pep recently exploded at his players after the winter break concluded for failing to maintain fitness and their diet regimen.

The recent fallout between Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola and his players continues to deepen, as two stars of the Bundesliga giants were named in the manager’s accusation of unprofessionalism.

The Spanish tactician was left furious with several of his players for returning back from the recently concluded winter break in poor physical form, with Franck Ribery and summer signing Arturo Vidal named as the key culprits, Bild revealed.

Playing their first game since December, the Bavarians crawled to a narrow 2-1 victory over Hamburger on Friday, as the former Barca boss believes that some of his players resumed their 2015-16 campaign overweight.

According to the German tabloid, Pep addressed Ribery and Vidal in particular, accusing the Frenchman, currently sidelined with a muscle injury, of not working hard enough to make a speedy comeback.

The club’s 28-year-old Chilean midfielder, on the other hand, infamous for clubbing, has come under fire from Pep for staying out late into the night in Munich.

The 45-year-old tactician reportedly criticized a few players in front of the whole squad for a lack of professionalism and being too lax during pre-match preparation, and even requested the players to inform him when they will be taking days off as to be aware of their whereabouts.

This, though, was not received well, as the manager’s relationship with the players is in risk of deteriorating in the months leading to his eventual Allianz Arena departure.
