For the third time in just 11 days, Paris Saint-Germain will be taking on Toulouse, this time in the semi-finals of the Coupe de la Ligue as they hope to make it to the final and defend their trophy. Meanwhile, Toulouse will be hoping to finally end PSG's winning streak against them, but will face a tough task as they arrive at the Parc des Princes this evening.

This will be the fourth time this season PSG will be facing off against Toulouse. Laurent Blanc's men have already completed the double over their opponents, beating them both home and away and dumped them out of the Coupe de France after beating them 2-1. With the league title pretty much already decided - barring some kind of shocking collapse - Les Parisiens will now have to avoid complacency as they turn their attention to securing additional domestic - and of course, European - titles this season.
PSG supporters will expect their team to clinch at least three titles - Ligue 1, the Coupe de la Ligue, and the Coupe de France this season, and they are well on their way to defending their domestic treble (or "quadruple" if one counts the Trophée des Champions) this term. Should they manage to beat their struggling opponents, Les Rouge-et-Bleu will have reached their third consecutive Coupe de la Ligue final.
The hosts will be coming into this match having mauled Angers 5-1, with Angel Di Maria putting another excellent effort by grabbing a brace as PSG cruised to all three points without breaking a sweat. In terms of personnel, young defender Marquinhos could make his return to action, but Thiago Silva, Javier Pastore, Marco Verratti, and Salvatore Sirigu are still recovering from their respective injuries. Nonetheless, despite the absence of several key players, Blanc has more than enough star quality at his disposal and the hosts are viewed as the heavy favorites to come out on top.

Meanwhile, Dominique Arribage's squad must be sick and tired of playing - and losing - to PSG. With this being their third meeting in less than two weeks, Les Pitchouns will certainly want to avenge their loss in the Coupe de France by spoiling the party for their hosts this evening. Despite coming up short twice, they were not easy victories for PSG: in Ligue 1, they needed a late goal from Zlatan Ibrahimovic to decide the game, and in the Coupe de France it was Ibrahimovic again to the rescue to break the deadlock with a very late penalty.
Toulouse will have much food for thought after suffering a heavy 4-0 defeat against Monaco over the weekend, marking their third straight loss across all competitions. Sitting in a disappointing 19th place in Ligue 1, they are also involved in a fight for survival and they will naturally again have to adopt a highly defensive approach to try to keep PSG from scoring. Simply put, a win for the visitors is not outside the realm of possibility, but they will face a titanic task in trying to cause an upset in France's capital tonight.
