West Ham will welcome Manchester City to Boleyn Ground on Saturday, the 23rd of January in a Premier League encounter. Check the live TV and online streaming broadcast listings for Norwich vs Liverpool.

Man City will be looking for maximum points as they aim to keep things tight at the top of the table. With Arsenal poised to face rivals Chelsea in a difficult match, the Citizens will be looking to capitalise should the Gunners fail to record a win.

Manuel Pellegrini's men will however have to cope with pressure better if they are to achieve that. The Citizens have been very inconsistent this season especially during their away outings, having managed just a single win in their last seven matches away from the Etihad. Three of these matches have ended in defeat whereas the remaining have ended in 0-0 draws.

Furthermore, City have failed to record back to back league victories since their wins over Newcastle United and Bournemouth in October.

"I think the pressure is part of [it] -- you cannot be in a big team if you don't feel the pressure every week that you must to win the title," Pellegrini said.

"I think the chances to win are exactly the same for the team that is one point in front or one point below or five points behind the leaders. It's important to try to demonstrate every game why you are involved in the title [race]."

West Ham on the other hand are hoping for a top four finish themselves and are currently just four points behind fourth placed Tottenham. Even though the Hammers have managed victories in just three of their last 12 top flight fixtures, they have not tasted defeat in their last eight matches at home.

The reverse fixture at the Etihad resulted in a 2-1 win for West Ham with Victor Moses and Sakho getting on the score sheet for the Hammers.

West Ham will have a couple of injury problems for their home fixture with all of James Tomkins, Diafra Sakho, Andy Carroll and Manuel Lanzini doubtful for the match. Joey O'Brien however is expected to return.

Fernandinho has returned to training for City and is expected to feature but Eliaquim Mangala and Wilfried Bony are unlikely to feature.
