Two of Arsenal's greatest superstars this season are gearing up to face Chelsea.

Arsenal have been handed a huge boost as two of their superstars, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez could be available for selection when the Premier League title contenders face Chelsea on Sunday.

Ozil did not feature in the 0-0 draw against Stoke City last weekend and his absence was quite visible. Arsenal lacked creativity at the midfield, something that the German international specializes in. His counterpart has been out of action since November due to a hamstring injury.Mesut Ozil in a previous training session with ArsenalHowever, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger revealed that as much as the Chilean is expected to return on Sunday, he will not rush him to start. Speaking during a press conference, the Frenchman confirmed:

"The good news is that Ozil certainly will be available."

"For Sanchez, the next two days will decisive but I think this time he will make it to be available for selection."

The  2015 Copa America winner with Chile has resumed training with the Gunners since last week but despite showing signs of full recovery, Wenger did not want to risk fielding him against the physical Stoke City. It is believed that he was rested in order to further boost his recovery process and fitness levels ahead of their crucial clash against their West London rivals.Alexis Sanchez in a previous training session for ArsenalWenger added:

"The doubt is that he has been out for a long time and there is a greater risk of a setback if you try to go too early.’’

"The intensity of a big game you can never repeat in a training session.’’

"We are cautious with him because we cannot afford a set back with him, but the signs he showed in training this week have been positive."

A win for the Gunners would cement their position in the race for this season’s Premier League title. The North Londoners are top of the league table while their weekend opponents are sitting in the 14th position, something that gives the latter an added advantage coming into the much-anticipated derby.
