Alvaro Arbeloa hopes for a change against Deportivo on Sunday. The defender, who spent six months with Deportivo La Coruna previously in his career, is preparing to help Real Madrid maintain their 100% record at the Santiago Bernabeu. Fans of the Spanish giants haven’t wasted time to voice out their discontent at Real Madrid’s performances and results. Although they currently remain unbeaten, they’ve already lost four precious points following goalless draws away to Real Mallorca and Levante. The goal scoring factor has become an issue at Real Madrid, and Alvaro Arbeloa didn’t hide his anxiety as he spoke to the club’s official website:
“We are extremely worried about our forwards having a rough patch. The most important thing is to improve in defense and assimilate the coach’s ideas.
“The team has great forwards, and I’m sure that, by the end of the season, they’ll have scored many times.”
When asked if Los Blancos would score against Deportivo this weekend, the defender answered:
“I hope so. We usually have many chances to score when we play at the Santiago Bernabeu. Hopefully, goals will come.”
