Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed one thing he admires about his rival Lionel Messi. Speaking during the Ballon d’Or press conference, the Portugal international heaped praise on his Argentine counterpart. Quite unexpectedly, he went ahead to reveal that he admires Messi’s left foot.
When asked about what he would want to have from Leo, he revealed:
“What would I want from Messi? His left foot is really good, I’d like to have that.”
Fellow Ballon d’Or contestant Neymar Jr interjected:
“I’d like to have both!”
The Brazilian was referring to Messi’s feet.
Also, during the press-conference, Ronaldo admitted that Messi was the favourite to win the coveted trophy for the fifth time. The Portugal international is in contention for his fourth Ballon d’Or but faces stiff competition from Lionel Messi and his teammate at Barcelona, Neymar Jr.
