Villarreal are last in Group D as they enter match-day two of the UEFA Europa League. They’ll host Club Brugge and Bruno Soriano has urged his team to pick all three points.

Villarreal's Bruno Soriano wants his team to defeat Club Brugge. The Yellow Submarines are doing remarkably well in La Liga, but they don't have a single point in the UEFA Europa League. The Yellow Submarines are doing pretty well in La Liga this season. Thanks to four victories, Villarreal occupy the second position behind unbeaten record-holders and leaders Valencia. They are also above Barcelona and Real Madrid. However, the situation isn’t the same at all for Villarreal in the UEFA Europa League.

They lost 2-0 away to Dinamo Zagreb as they endured a bad start to the competition. Things haven’t yet taken shape in the European competition as Thursday night only marks its second match-day.

All the same, Yellow Submarine Bruno Soriano believes that it’s time to turn things around in the right direction. As he talked to AS, the Villarreal player explained:

“We need to forget about the league and start thinking about Europe. We must win, and we’ll try to achieve this on Thursday.

“We can’t fail, especially because we’ll be playing at home [against Club Brugge]. Honestly, I think a draw will mean nothing for us in this game. So, we’ll have to play football and from there, we will be able to take the game forward.”

Villarreal will overtake Club Brugge if they defeat them tonight. The visitors could only draw 1-1 against PAOK on match-day one of the UEFA Europa League whereas the Yellow Submarines are yet to clinch a single point so far.
