The Ivory Coast striker has been linked with a move back to Chelsea after José Mourinho's sacking, but this time helping Guus Hiddink as his first assistant.

Back in December, Guus Hiddink stated he would love to have Didier Drogba working with him during his stint as Chelsea's coach. When the news broke out, fans and experts started talking about what would be Drogba's role with the team, and some hinted the African legend could take a player-coach role with the Blues. But today, the team's legendary striker set the record straight.

Via his Twitter feed, Drogba made it perfectly clear that he hasn't made up his mind about hanging his boots, snubbing all those rumors that believed he had already agreed to join Chelsea's staff.

The MLS team is yet to comment about the current negotiations Drogba revealed on his Twitter feed. While the Canadian side understands the strong bond between the striker and his former club, the striker still has one year left in his contract, and the team would like to keep him around for the 2016 season, as they wrote back in December.
