Exeter City will host Liverpool at the St. James Park in an FA Cup match on Friday, the 8th of January. Check the live TV and online streaming broadcast listings for Exeter City vs Liverpool.

Liverpool come into this match at the back of a severe injury crisis which has ruled out all of their four senior centre backs from Friday's FA Cup tie against Exeter City. The Reds did record a 1-0 win over Stoke City during the first leg of the League Cup semi final but lost the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Dejan Lovren, both of whom suffered hamstring injuries.

Injuries to the aforementioned players has made life difficult for manager Jurgen Klopp who is already without the likes of Martin Skrtel, Divock Origi, Jordan Rossiter and Daniel Sturridge. Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce has offered his opinion on the matter claiming that the German's training methods are to blame for the injury crisis at the club.

The former Borussia Dortmund manager has however refuted these claims and has stated that the Reds have been unlucky with injuries.

"I knew about the English Premier League, I knew about the fixtures. It's not a problem," he said.

"I'm glad for Sam, that such an experienced manager has time to think about Liverpool's problems. I don't really have time to think about this.

"We know about our situation. One injury at the wrong moment is a problem for the whole squad because another player has to play too much. You have to react to this. But I knew about the intensity of the football here."

"You all talk about the intensity of my style," Klopp said. "I didn't create a style -- how could I, I'm not a genius. I only try to be successful. I said a few weeks ago we need a little bit of luck with injuries. Two weeks ago we had no idea we would have this problem at centre-half.

Their opponents Exeter on the other hand come into this match at the back of a four match losing streak. During the process they have conceded 10 goals, having scored just three.
Liverpool comfortably won the last encounter between the two sides back in 2011 when the Reds won the match by a 3-1 score line.
