The Argentine striker led Los Blaugranas' reaction after an early goal by Felipe Caicedo, scoring a beautiful free kick as the first half expired.

Even when he's having a bad game, Lionel Messi finds a way to make the headlines.

The Argentine striker scored a couple of goals during the first half of Barcelona's match against Espanyol, leading his team's reaction after conceding an early goal by Ecuadorian Felipe Caicedo. Messi's second goal stole the show, as he drilled a free kick past goalkeeper Pau López, giving fans at Camp Nou stadium something to widely celebrate.

Meanwhile, there was an unsportsmanlike incident moments after the goal, as Luis Suárez approached the visitors' goalie and celebrated in front of him. Suárez and López actually had an argument minutes earlier, prompting the Uruguayan's "payback" troll.
