Neymar will make one more attempt to win the Gold medal for his home country this summer, as Dunga will call the player up to perform in front of his countrymen during the 2016 Olympics.
Although Barcelona's wingman will have to ask for permission to join A Seleçao next summer, coach Dunga will nominate Brazil's most talented player to join the Olympic squad that will search for the first Gold medal for the South Americans this year. Goalkeeper Alisson and defender Miranda will be the other two players called up by Dunga to boost the hosts chances of winning the top prize.
Brazil has never been able to win the Olympic tournament, and they get to this Olympic Games as the runner up from 2012. Back then, Neymar and Marcelo were part of the team that los the Gold medal match against Mexico with a 2-1 score line at Wembley Stadium.
Neymar's skills could make him Brazil's No.1 scorer soon, surpassing legends like Ronaldo or Pelé.

Given that the Olympic tournament is not sanctioned by FIFA, Barcelona will call the shots regarding Neymar's performance with the team. If he is allowed to participate, the Brazilian ace will most likely miss the last stage of Barcelona's pre-season games, along with an undetermined number of La Liga games. Maybe Neymar's desire to write his name in Brazil's history could make Los Blaugranas think about it.
