With this result, Chelsea will continue languishing in the bottom half of the standings, just two points clear from the relegation zone.

Chelsea wasn't able to hold on to their 1-0 goal lead following Diego Costa's strike, as Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo led Watford's comeback. Costa managed to level things again while recording his first brace of the season, but when it came down to Oscar to shine, the Brazilian player could not deliver.
