Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo managed to score four goals for Los Blancos against Getafe. They hadn't scored in the same game since last season.

After almost eight months, Real Madrid can rest easy about their attacking trio. For the first time since April, the BBC attack was able to score in the same game, giving Los Blancos some relief after what turned out to be an embarrassing week, following their Copa del Rey fiasco.

The first one to score was Karim Benzema, and it only took him four minutes to send the ball into the back of the net. The French striker put his right foot to a cross by Pepe, giving Los Blancos an early lead.

Twelve minutes later, and with Cristiano Ronaldo asking for a penalty to be given by ref Mateu Lahoz, Benzema sunk his shot past Guaita for an early brace.

Then, Gareth Bale scored the third goal for Benitez's crew. Cristiano Ronaldo had the chance to score with a header, but he chose to send the ball back to the Welshman, who controlled the ball and drilled it past Guaita, establishing a 3-goal difference.

And finally, Cristiano Ronaldo added his name to the score sheet. The Portuguese ace finished a fast break led by Toni Kroos with a stylish right-footed shot inside Getafe's box. This was CR7's 235th La Liga goal, which makes him the third all-time top scorer in the Spanish top flight.
