Roberto Mancini's side has been one of this year's surprises in the Italian tournament, and that momentum made them lead the Serie A standings until Monday. This Saturday, the Neroazzurri will host Genoa at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, with the clear goal of claiming back the top of the Italian top flight.
On the other hand, Gian Piero Gasperini's team has struggled to find consistency throughout the semester, losing six matches out of all fourteen fixtures played. In fact, I Rossoblu broke a four game streak without a win a couple of weeks ago, and they will have to perform their best when facing one of this year's Scudetto contenders.
Inter Milan
The Serie A leaders until Monday evening will have to work things out without a number of key players. Yuto Nagatomo will not be able to play this game since he was sent off against Napoli, while Nemanja Vidic, Davide Santon and Geoffrey Kondogbia sit this match out due to injuries.
Coach Roberto Mancini addressed the media prior to the game, revealing that the team's goals haven't changed even after such a disappointing result like the one they lived through on Monday.

Genoa CFC
Things won't be easy for coach Gian Piero Gasperini, since he won't have four of his players available to face Inter. Leonardo Pavoletti will serve a three-match ban starting this Saturday, while Giovanni Marchese, Ezequiel Muñoz and Blerim Dzemaili sit the game out due to distinct injuries.
Gasperini believes his team will be able to put up a good fight when they face Inter, but he knows it won't be easy to come out of Giuseppe Meazza Stadium with all the points.
"Inter is a strong team, their position in the tournament is well deserved. They have to be considered title contenders."
#Gasperini: "L'Inter è una squadra forte, la loro posizione in classifica è meritata. È tra le candidate allo scudetto". #InterGenoa

"Each game gives you the chance to change history. We have to try to compete against Inter with a good performance"
