Tottenham have been on a fine run having not tasted a league defeat since their opening match. Their 13 match unbeaten run in the league means that Spurs are just four points behind leaders Manchester City.
West Brom on the other hand have been on a good run themselves and have lost just twice in their last six matches. They picked up a victory over Tottenham's arch rivals Arsenal during the period and will be hoping to condemn Spurs to a similar fate.
Despite their good run in recent games, West Brom have recorded just two league wins this season and captain Darren Fletcher has called for improvement from his teammates.
"It has been a stop-start season," Fletcher said. "We got a win against Arsenal, we now have Tottenham at home next, which will be a very difficult game.
"But if we can improve our home form, we have shown we can pick up points away from home. We believe we can get results at any match.
"We have got a great bunch of lads with a great spirit and I think it was epitomised in the last two games, going a goal down and coming back to get four points from the two of them. That shows a lot of character.
Saido Berahino is also poised to go against a side he was hotly linked to in the summer. The 22 year old had expressed his anger after his move to North London was blocked and this has notably had an adverse effects on his performance.
West Brom have no new injury concerns but will be without Claudio Yacob who will serve suspension after picking his fifth booking in the match against West Ham last time out.
Tottenham on the other hand will be without a host of players including the likes of Ryan Mason, Nacer Chadli, Nabil Bentaleb and Alex Pritchard. Dele Alli will however return to the squad having served suspension.
