Sporting Braga will welcome Benfica to the Estádio Municipal de Braga on Monday, November 30th. Here are your live TV listings & online streaming options for Sporting Braga vs. Benfica.

In past seasons, more often than not it was Benfica looking down on their upcoming opponent, Sporting Braga, in the Primeira Liga table.

Not so much this campaign. The Eagles, who finished three points ahead of Porto to clinch their record-setting 34th league title are presently in fourth, whilst today's hosts sit just above them in third. Jorge Jesus, who departed from Benfica this summer, appears to have taken his winning touch with him as Sporting CP are presently on top of the group as they chase their first league title in over a decade.

Braga

Last season saw Braga finish in fourth place, which gave the Archbishops an automatic spot in this year's Europa League. Paulo Fonseca's men have fared well so far, topping their quartet and are into the round of 32. Meanwhile, domestically, they have been solid, with three wins in their last five games. Their last defeat in the Primeira Liga was back on September 12th, when they were edged out 1-0 by Estoril in an ill-tempered match that saw them finish the match with just nine men.

Historically, Braga have experienced both highs and lows when it comes to taking on Benfica. The last league fixture ended as a 2-0 win for the Eagles; however, in the corresponding edition of this same meeting, Braga were able to edge out the league's most decorated team 2-1 at their home ground, as well as defeating them by the same score-line in the Taca de Portugal.

Benfica

Meanwhile, Benfica have had mixed results - both in the league and in the Champions League. They were expected to easily ease past debutants Astana last week but were held to a disappointing 2-2 draw; nonetheless, that did not prevent them from earning a spot in the round of 16. Domestically, they have lost two out of their quintet of matches but will be coming into this match having won their last two games and more important, whilst keeping a clean sheet.

Although they sit in fourth, it is important to note that Rui Vitoria's men do have a game in hand after having their match versus União da Madeira called off due to poor weather conditions. This is something that their fellow title contenders will need to keep in mind as the season progresses. However, despite boasting the league's top scorer in Jonas, who has eight goals thus far, Benfica will be facing a team that have not conceded a goal in their last five games, albeit two of those were in 0-0 draws.

As things stand, things are pretty tight near the top of the table, meaning that whoever - if anyone - finishes this game with all three points could find themselves inching ever closer towards the table's summit. Will it be Braga or Benfica? You will have to tune in to find out.
