Belarusian champions BATE Borisov and Bayer Leverkusen face a do-or-die situation this Tuesday, since both sides are in need of a win to keep their European football hopes alive. Die Werkself defeated BATE during Matchday 1 of this competition, but that doesn't mean they will be able to oust them one more time. Being this the last home game for the yellow-and-blue side, Alyaksandr Yermakovich's men will try to make the most out of their home field advantage against one of the most in-form strikers in all of Europe: Mexican Javier "Chicharito" Hernández.

Just this weekend, Yermakovich's men defeated Granit Mikashevichi with a 5-0 score line, maintaining their Cup chances alive. For the match against Bayer, Yermakovich will not have neither Vitali Rodionov nor Ihar Stasevich available due to a couple of injuries, depriving the team from their much- needed skills.
Bayer Leverkusen: The Aspirins defeated Eintracht Frankfurt in style with a brace by "Chicharito" Hernández. The former Man United and Real Madrid striker has scored at least one goal in the team's previous seven games, making him one of the German's best weapons up front. Hernández has scored four goals in this Champions League Group Stage, trailing the competition's top scorers by only one goal. For this game, coach Roger Schmidt won't have at least five players available, including striker Stefan Kiessling, Omer Toprak and Kyriakos Papadopoulos.
