"I am worried because when he went to Chile he was already a bit jaded and to see what state he will come back [in], I will have to test.
"But speaking to the player, if I ask him 'are you tired?' you can guess the answer."
In what is a welcoming news to Arsene Wenger and Arsenal, Chile do not play an international match until March.
"That is welcome that there is no international break now," he added.
West Brom on the other hand have failed to defeat Arsenal in the last nine meetings between the two sides. They come into this match at the back of two consecutive defeats and will be looking for retribution.
The Baggies have fitness doubts over Chris Brunt who is suffering with a groin injury. Arsenal on the other hand will be without a string of players including the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott. Whereas Laurent Koscielny has been termed by Wenger as not being in the right frame of mind and might be rested. Hector Bellerin however returns to the squad having recovered from a groin injury.
