Referee José Hernando Buitrago refused to swap his jersey with Barcelona's superstar, following Brazil's 3-0 win against Peru in the CONMEBOL Qualifiers.

Neymar never imagined that trying to be polite would have him humiliated.

During Tuesday's match between Brazil and Peru for the World Cup Qualifiers, the Brazilian ace attempted to give away his jersey to the game's referee, Jose Hernando Buitrago from Colombia. But despite the player's good will, the Colombian ref left his "fandom" back in the dressing room and refused to accept the gift.

Both linesmen lauged at Neymar, while the player walked away in awe after his gift was snubbed by the 45-year-old officer.

The Brazilian ace played the whole game against Perú, picking up a yellow card and not being able to score against Los Franjirrojos. This was Neymar's second World Cup Qualifier match after serving a two-match ban with A Canarinha.
