Reports have linked the Bayern Munich striker with the Bernabeu, but the player’s representative has played down those rumors.

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is reportedly on the radar of Real Madrid, and not surprisingly so, given his impressive form this season.

The Polish goalscoring machine has netted 19 times for Pep Guardiola’s side this season in all competitions, with Los Blancos rumored to be keen on luring the 27-year-old to Santiago Bernabeu.

The player’s agent, Cezary Cucharski, recently admitted to Spanish news outlet MARCA that the 10-time Champions League winners are interested in the former BVB ace.

However, now speaking to WP SportoweFakty in Poland, Cucharski claims that no one in Lewandowski’s camp has been in contact with Real Madrid over a switch to La Liga.

"Since Robert signed a contract with Bayern Munich, [we] have not talked with representatives of Real Madrid on his transfer to the club," revealed the player’s representative.

Les Merengues, however, could be in need of a world-class forward, whether that man should be Lewandowski or not.

Once reliant on Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid have suffered on numerous occasions this term with the Portuguese ace unable to reach the heights of last season.

The 30-year-old superstar has 8 goals in 11 Liga BBVA matches, a respectable number for any striker, but a not-so-impressive tally for a player of Cristiano’s standard.

Furthermore, transfer rumors claim that this will be the three-time Ballon d’Or winner’s last season in Madrid, with reports that the club will sell Ronaldo.

Karim Benzema, on the other hand, has proven pivotal for Rafael Benitez’s crew in front of goal, with 6 strikes in as many games. However, injury has sidelined him for several games this campaign.

In addition, the recent sex tape blackmail charges brought against the attacker could see him spend 5-7 years in jail, an outcome which could prove devastating for both Real Madrid and the Frenchman.
