The Brazilian was off the mark in his third successive Premier League start.

Antony is the first ever Manchester United player to score in his first three Premier League matches. The Brazilian forward was handed his third start since joining the club this summer and was successful in repaying his manager's faith in him with another brilliant finish.

Manchester United began a second successive game on the back foot, conceding an early goal against the Toffees inside Goodison Park. Alex Iwobi was the man to have fired the visitors in front in just five minutes following an error in the midfield by Casemiro.

However, the lead did not last for long with United restoring parity through Antony, initiating a comeback in the process. Just as it was the case for Everton in getting their opening goal, the visitors capitalized on a loss of possession in midfield. The Red Devils moved the ball quickly and got it to the feet of Anthony Martial who raced on and spotted Antony's run with a well-measured pass. The Brazilian simply put the ball into the top-right corner after going one-on-one with Jordan Pickford.

With the goal, the Brazilian winger became the first-ever Manchester United player to score in his first three Premier League games for the club. The former Ajax star is also the first player since Ian Storey-Moore in 1972 to score in his first three League appearances for Manchester United.

Anthony began his goalscoring form by marking his debut with a goal against against Arsenal before getting on the scoresheet in the derby against Manchester City.
