Three players from La Liga and the English Premier League feature. Who are they and where do they rank? Watch and find out.

Modern day football is synonymous for its world-class players and their mega-million wages.

With those huge wages come expensive toys for footballers, which usually include anything from million dollar properties, flats and houses, and the best, brand-new cars that money can buy.

Having said this, the lovely folks at Football Daily UK have compiled a superb list of the top 10 most expensive cars and their owners in football.

Many of the world’s biggest name feature on the list, which is dominated by La Liga, given that the two richest clubs are Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively, as ranked by Forbes back in May of 2015.

Surprisingly, Arsenal superstar Mesut Ozil, despite being only the 6th highest paid player in the Premier League with his £190,000-a-week contract, came in 7th with his Ferrari 458, three spots above the £260,000-a-week Wayne Rooney, the highest paid player in England’s top-flight, who came in 10 with his Aston Martin Vanquish.

Neymar, La Liga’s leading goalsorer, makes a cameo with one of the most expensive cars owned by a footballer with his Ferrari 458 Spider, which he recently flaunted on Instagram.

Sweden’s and PSG’s all-time leading goalscorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic makes the cut, with his Porsche 918, whilst AC Milan bad boy Mario Balotelli also features on the list.

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema just missed out on top spot, coming in second with his Bugatti Veyron. Not too bad for a player earning £150,000 per week.

Unfortunately for the Frenchman, he may not be able to enjoy his monster of a vehicle after for a while his car was confiscated by the police over driving charges.

So, who clinched the number one spot? Who else made the list? Watch the video below and find out!
