Two Canadian teams continue their quest to bring the MLS CUP north of the border for the first time ever as Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Montreal Impact kick off the first leg of their MLS CUP PLAYOFFS Conference Semifinals with a doubleheader this weekend on TSN.
The action begins with David Ousted and Vancouver Whitecaps FC taking on the Portland Timbers on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 5 p.m. ET live on TSN1. The doubleheader continues with global soccer icon Didier Drogba and the Montreal Impact, fresh off their decisive 3-0 victory over Toronto FC, hosting the Columbus Crew at 7 p.m. ET on TSN1 (see below for complete broadcast schedule).
MLS ON TSN play-by-play commentator Luke Wileman and analyst Jason deVos are in the broadcast booth to call the Vancouver Whitecaps FC game, with CTV Vancouver’s Perry Solkowski reporting from the sidelines at Portland’s Providence Park.
Calling all the action from the Montreal Impact game are play-by-play commentator Vic Rauter and analyst Greg Sutton, with Kristian Jack reporting from field level at Montréal’s Saputo Stadium.
