The defending champions have been in an outrageous run in league encounters and will be hoping to continue that when they face Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday. The Bavarians have won all of the ten matches they have played so far, scoring 33 goals in the process and conceding just four.
They were against Wolfsburg last time out in a DFB-Pokal encounter, Bayern won comfortably by a 3-1 score line. Guardiola's side hit the ground running from the word go and effectively put the tie to rest scoring thrice in the first 45 minutes, with goals from Douglas Costa and Thomas Muller.
Andre Schurrle pulled one back for Wolfsburg but it was too late to stage a comeback. Pep Guardiola was impressed with his side's performance and praised them for their aggression.
"I can only congratulate the team. The lads put in a great performance and were very aggressive on the ball," Guardiola said post-match.
"We were very tidy on the ball and hardly ever lost possession. We were aware of Wolfsburg's quality and wanted to defend high up the pitch.
"The opening 45 minutes were incredibly convincing. We are very, very happy with our performance and with the result."
Their opponents Frankfurt on the other hand have suffered defeats in three of their last five matches. They were against Aue last time out in the DFB-Pokal and were condemned to a 1-0 defeat courtesy of a goal from Sparkassen-Erzgebirgsstadion.
