With Lewandowski unable to make himself heard, Thomas Müller took the team's goal scoring duties during the first half, giving Guardiola's side the chance to work things out.

With this win, Bayern Munich remain seven points ahead of Borussia Dortmund in the league standings. This will give the German champions a confidence boost before mid-week's game against Arsenal.
