Spain won the 2010 World Cup and 2012 Euro Cup with Vicente as the manager. The 64-year old received a lot of criticism for a poor 2014 World Cup.

Pep Guardiola has won it all as a manager with every club he has coached and at the moment he does not seem interested in anything else. Speaking at a UEFA Coaching Course in Madrid, Guardiola backed up Vicente del Bosque's job as the manager of Spain for the upcoming games.

Spain could clinch their ticket to France 2016 with a win against Luxembourg. Despite all the harsh criticism received after their poor exhibition in the 2014 World Cup, where they did not get past the group stage, now Spain is the leader of Group C with 21 points.

Both coaches met in Madrid to talk about soccer

Their only loss in the process has been against Slovakia 1-2. The team has made Spain a fortress, as they have over 30 games undefeated at home.

"There is no better coach for Spain than Vicente Del Bosque," Guardiola said in an interview with AS.

Bayern Munich's manager claims that he is happy about seeing Spain recover from the hard blow suffered in Brazil. He supports the work that is being done by Del Bosque, while not giving any hints about if he would like that job in the future or not.

"The team will continue at a high level, just like in recent years," Pep added. "This generation has taken a step forward, something that we in this world really appreciate."

Guardiola attended the conference to give those who attended some insight on his tactics and what can help make coaches teach their players find ways to get better. He emphasized on the use of videos and working the mental aspect of the game, which is sometimes forgotten.
