No team from Turkey has been able to win a game in Scotish grounds. Celtic F.C. has not lost a game at home since qualifiers.

Europa League action resumes this Thursday as Celtic hosts Fenerbahce in Group A action. This will be the first time that the teams meet and none of them won in their opening game, so winning is a priority for the two sides coming into Celtic Park in Glasgow.

The home team began their Europa League journey with a 2-2 draw on the road against Ajax, something that could be seen as a positive outcome for the Scotish side. The truth is, underdog Molde is now acting as the leader of the group.

They have won all European home games this season, but Fenerbahce has never lost any of their six games in the Europa League playing away from home.

In their last game, Robin Van Persie could not do much to stop his team from losing 3-1 against Molde at home. The team hopes that the Dutch striker and Nani have more to give to the team this time around.

Both teams share the fact that they are in second place of their respective leagues. Last season, Celtic finished as the best team in Ireland. Fenerbahce finished in second to Galatasaray only three points behind.

For this game, Emilio Izaguirre is suspended for Celtic and Lazar Markovic won't be able to play for the visiting team. If there is an important stat against the hopes of Fenerbahce is that no Turkish team has been able to win in Scotland in seven attempts.
