Arsenal have made a slow start to the season but have seemingly hit the ground running after a big win over Leicester City last time out. Chilean international Alexis Sanchez was on song scoring a hat-trick while both the strikers Walcott and Giroud were also on target.

Walcott has been preferred in the central role ahead of his French teammate and the Englishman has returned the favor, scoring 12 goals in his last 13 league starts. The former Southampton man is now confident that he can maintain his starting berth.

"I've been biding my time to get the opportunity to play up front," Walcott said.

"If I can continue to play well, I can stay there, but I need to be able to contribute well and luckily, in this match, it went my way."

Walcott highlighted his performance against Leicester as one of his best since suffering a long term injury back in January 2014 in a match against Tottenham.

"It will be up there since the knee injury and, before that, the Tottenham game, "he said. "The manager has had faith in me and I just want to repay him."

Theo has further also lauded Olivier Giroud who he faces a direct competition with for a starting role.

"When given the opportunity, any player needs to try and make the difference, and Olly has come off the bench twice and scored now, which is great," he said.

Arsenal will now be hoping to respond after a shocking 2-1 defeat at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb in their opening match. Joel Campbell is poised to be reunited with his former club Olympiacos, a club where he scored 11 goals in 43 appearances.

Olympiacos on the other hand have won both their last two matches, including a 5-1 win last time out and will be hoping to pull off an upset at the expense of Arsenal. They will however be without Luka Milivojevic who is suspended for the tie, whereas Alejandro Dominguez is a doubt for the match.

Arsenal on the other hand are set to be without midfielders Mikel Arteta and Flamini but Francis Coquelin is expected to return to the side.
