Borussia is currently five points behind the Bundesliga leaders. Fiorentina could snatch the lead of the Serie A from Inter Milan

Borussia Dortmund vs Darmstadt 98

With the possibility of passing Bayern Munich out of sight, Borussia Dortmund steps into Signal Iduna Park hoping they can be in contention for next week. Their upcoming rival, Darmstadt 98, is in 11th place but with the season still young, now is a good time to show they want to be higher up the rankings.

A win would keep Dortmund only two points behind Bayern and heal a bit of what was their draw against Hoffenheim earlier in the week. Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Shinji Kagawa should be back and ready for Thomas Tuchel's orders right at the beginning of the game.

Despite their differences in the table, Darmstadt should be taken seriously. The recently-promoted side has only lost a game so far, winning against some serious rivals like Bayer Leverkusen and Werder Bremen. The side managed by Dirk Schuster is really a threat to any competitor no matter where the game takes place.

A win could actually promote the visitor's side to the top five in the Bundesliga if Hertha Berlin loses their game. That could work as motivation for a team that has remained injury-free after six games. In the case of Dortmund, they will rely heavily on the magic of Aubemayang, who has scored the most goals for his side so far (7) and is second in the leading scorers list just behind Lewandowski.

Inter Milan vs Fiorentina

If you usually don't watch Serie A games, this is the one to watch. Even though it is early in the season, when two teams are fighting for the lead of a league, interesting games come to life. This could be the case for the matchup between Inter Milan and Fiorentina at San Siro this Sunday.

Besides trying to keep the lead, Inter is attempting for a sixth win in a row. The team is looking sharp so far this season. Determined to win game after game. Their defense is doing an outstanding job with only one goal conceded so far. The mentality of this team could not have been predicted even in the pre-season.

They have already beaten cross-town rivals A.C. Milan, but this could be their first real test in the season. They face a team that wants to be in the spot that they are in. The way of playing and achieving the results they have so far is very different from one team to the other. In the end, the goal in mind is the same, to win.

Fiorentina's players and staff have claimed that they are not afraid, but rather motivated to play against the Serie A leaders. They have scored more goals than Inter so far (7), but received two more than their upcoming rivals.

Both teams like to have the ball, and while Inter is more dynamic and plays with a more offensive mentality, the pass-success rate is slightly higher for Fiorentina. This will be a close game if the stats don't lie, but in the end the lead of the Serie A is on the line. No one wants to say no to that possibility.
