Robert Lewandowski made sure people realized that he isn't tired of scoring goals after his five goals in nine-minute accomplishment just a few days ago. Today, against Mainz 05, the Poland-international added two more to his personal count in the victory of the Bavarian squad 3-0.
While early in the game, Thomas Muller missed his chance from the penalty spot, and Mainz was able to hold Bayern to a scoreless first half, things were completely different in the second half. This time, Lewy needed 12 minutes to vanish almost any hope of a miracle for Mainz.

The team of Pep Guardiola took the lead in the 51st minute as Lewandowski used his head to push the ball into the net. 12 minutes later, the same 27-year old player went around Loris Karius for his second of the night. At that point, the striker had scored his 100th goal in the Bundesliga in just 168 games.
At this point in the season, Lewy has ten goals after only seven games. The only player in the German soccer league to have ever topped that was Gerd Muller. The man of the hour wraps up the week with seven of those goals in only two games.
